1. Submit a copyright notice
Send a written notice to [email protected] with the subject “Copyright notice.” This email address is a practical contact channel; it is not a representation that the recipient is a formally designated or registered DMCA agent.
If a specific item is available through a third-party service, the fastest route may also be to contact that provider or the original hosting service directly. Cyneflix may not host or control material linked from independent third parties.
2. Information to include in a notice
To help us identify and review a report, include the information required by applicable law. For a notice intended to satisfy 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), that generally includes:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for the owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it, such as the exact Cyneflix page URL and relevant title or identifier.
- Your contact information, including an address, telephone number, and email address, as applicable.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
3. Counter-notification
If material you posted or made available was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice and you believe the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to [email protected]. A counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) generally includes your physical or electronic signature; identification of the removed material and its former location; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, and telephone number, together with the required consent-to-jurisdiction and service-of-process statements.
Counter-notifications can have legal consequences and may be shared with the original claimant. Consider obtaining independent legal advice before submitting one.
4. Review and response
We will review notices that contain enough information to identify the material and the rights claim. Depending on the circumstances, we may request clarification, restrict access, remove or disable a link or item, notify an affected party, or refer the report to a relevant third-party provider. Receipt of an email does not guarantee a particular action or response time.
Any repeat-infringer policy, designated agent information, and formal statutory response workflow must be confirmed and implemented by the operator; this draft does not claim that such registration or procedures are already in place.
5. Good-faith reporting
Copyright notices and counter-notices should be accurate and submitted only by a rights holder or an authorized representative. Misrepresentations about infringement or mistaken removal may result in liability under applicable law. If you are uncertain whether a use is authorized, consider getting legal advice before sending a formal notice.
6. Contact
